Welcome to PlayBuoy.no — the only place where water temperatures are cool, but our data practices are even cooler.

This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect (spoiler: not much), how we use it, and how seriously we take your privacy — even if our floating buoys are bobbing happily in public waters.

Let’s be honest — we’re more interested in buoy locations and water temperature than in you. But when you visit our site, like every other website on the planet, we may collect:

We do not:

All the data shown on this site — like water temperatures, wave height, GPS coordinates, etc. — comes from floating buoys deployed in public waters. None of that is personal data. Unless you're somehow living inside a buoy (in which case: hi, are you okay?).

If you contact us:

  • We'll receive your email and whatever info you provide

  • We’ll use that info only to respond to your query

  • We won’t add you to a newsletter or forward your message to a Nigerian prince

We store any collected data:

  • On secure servers in the EU/Norway

  • With appropriate access control and encryption where necessary

  • For only as long as needed

6. Your Rights (a.k.a. You’re the Boss)

We might tweak this page occasionally (especially if we add features). When we do, we’ll update the “Last updated” date. But let’s be honest: this isn’t exactly beach reading, so check back only if you’re really into privacy law.
